I officially started my training yesterday for the Los Angeles Rock N Roll Half Marathon!! Yipee!
I ran on the treadmill which I will do every Tuesday and Thursday then I will do my longer run on Saturdays. My longer runs will be outside. The first mile yesterday was a bit hard for some reason. I never really stopped running when I wasn’t training. I ran at least ran once a week but when I know im training I push myself more. I’m already registered and I know that I want to do really well so I have extra pressure. I like the added pressure though. It motivates me.
My legs are sore today which makes me feel good because I know that I pushed myself. I slept with my recovery socks on and they seemed to help a bit. Today I’m going to do a bit of cross training and strength training.
Question: What pushes you to keep going even when you feel tired, sore or just lazy?
Oh and I still have a lot of Vegas pictures to share. I just don’t have them at the moment and I wanted to update you on my recent running. 🙂
