Only one month left until Disneyland Half Marathon!!!!! I can’t wait.
I’ve been feeling a little disappointed with my training lately but I have to be proud of what I have done. I can’t focus on the “not so great runs” only. I have to focus on the great ones I’ve had too.
A lot can happen in a month and maybe by September 4th I’ll feel better about my training but until then I’m going to think positively. Starting with today’s 4 mile sweaty run on the treadmill 🙂
Here are two hints of what my outfit will include….
It’s all ready to go and I’m excited to show you but not until race day 🙂
The rest of my training includes 12, 10, 8 and 5 mile long runs. I’m confident up to 10 miles but I didn’t complete the 12 mile run last weekend so I’m still not confident enough. Since my injury in December I am so scared to get injured again. I don’t want it to happen and every little pain I start to feel in my knee makes me panic. Not only that but my stomach issues have been bothering me. Sometimes I feel like it might be all in my head but I know it’s not. I’m seeing my specialist again tomorrow, there has to be something I can do. Ugh. It gets really frustrating sometimes.
Other than that though everything is going great. I’m looking forward to Disneyland!! Even closer than that I’m looking forward to our day date Craig and I have planned for Sunday. We are driving to Flagstaff, Arizona for the day.
Our first stop is Bearizona.
Then we are heading over to the Flagstaff Arboretum.
If we have time there is a hike we want to do too 😉
