About Me

Hi my name is Betty and I’m 27 years old. I love hiking, running, riding my bike, yoga and almost anything related to fitness. A couple of years ago I started reading blogs and loved it. I felt very motivated by so many bloggers. After a few months I decided to start my own. I’m hoping that this blog will motivate others like so many have motivated me. At first this blog was mainly about running and working out. My blog has slowly become a little of everything. I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures as much as I enjoy sharing them. 🙂

A little bit about me:

Almost 4 years ago I started working out and eating better. I lost almost 40 pounds and have kept them off 🙂 This is a huge accomplishment for me because not only did I lose weight but I discovered so much about me in the journey that I didn’t know. There were so many things that I never imagined myself doing. Things that I was afraid to try because I thought I might fail. Well today I AM doing it all or at least attempting too. 😉 At the beginning of my journey my main focus was to lose weight, now I focus on living a healthy and fun life.

Like I said before I write about everything….hiking, running, my vacations and my adventures. I love life and I do my best to enjoy every minute of it.

    Betty, this is so inspirational, and quite an accomplishment. It is wonderful to have something that you work at show results!!! I would love to get the motivation and endorphin high I used to get when I was walking everyday, back again. Your blog could be the kick in the butt I need.

    I’m currently falling in love with running. I’ve lost 70lbs in just over three months as I move on in my ‘healthier’ lifestyle.

    Like you, my focus is lifestyle not weight loss and I’m sure if I get a good balance, the rest of the weight I need to lose (about another 98lbs) will come off.

    Hey check me out, today I did my first half marathon distance. Unofficial, but still a half marathon!
